Sabiana is an Italian company which invents, designs and produces air-conditioning equipment in environments where people live and work. Sabiana produces systems and machineries which heat and cool every kind of environment: industries, offices, hotels, hospitals, shopping centers and houses. All starting from the most natural element in the world: water.
THE NEED
SABIANA had the need to optimize the activities of goods acceptance, stocking, picking, preparation and shipping.
Moreover, the company wanted to improve the visibility into logistical and production processes, to guarantee a more efficient planning and a real time monitoring. Through the revision of operational processes of the Magenta logistic and production plant, it was possible to achieve a modern and efficient logistics, which is the key for a better costumer service.
SOLUTION
The project, for which Sabiana chose Npo Sistemi and Alfaproject.net as partners, consisted in an analysis and re-engineering of logistics processes with the engagement of all plant operational department and the implementation of a new materials management model in order to respond to new challenges in the market
This is an initiative promoted ad followed directly by management that wanted to maintain over time the level of service offered to the client and reduce the operational inefficiencies.
